What stripping is not
It is not redaction of text on the page and not encryption. Combine with Protect or Watermark when those needs apply.

- No. Strip Metadata targets document info fields, not visible page content, stamps, or comments.
- Is this the same as Privacy Pack?

- Where does my file go after metadata is stripped?
- It is processed over HTTPS and deleted within one hour. Fittingly for a privacy tool, we retain nothing — not the original, not the cleaned copy, and not the metadata we removed.
