- What encryption is used?
- Standard PDF password protection compatible with major desktop and mobile PDF readers.
- Can I set different owner and user passwords?
- The web tool uses one password for opening. Fine-grained permission tiers may come later; for launch we keep the flow simple and honest.
- Do you store my password?
- Never. It is used only during processing and is not written to logs.
- Can I protect a whole batch?
- Yes. Studio supports protecting multiple files into a ZIP when you need the same password across a set.
- Is the protected file kept on your servers?
- No. Uploads travel over HTTPS, the protected copy is generated, and both the original and the result are deleted within one hour. We never reuse your documents.
