Filemynt is an independent PDF utility built and maintained by a small software team focused on making everyday document tasks simpler, faster, and easier to understand.

Editorial standards
Filemynt Editorial writes for people who have a real document job — not for keyword grids. Each guide should answer one practical question thoroughly: when to compress, how to share more privately, how to build a multi-file packet, what passwords can and cannot do.
- Research:we verify product behavior against Filemynt's live tools and against common destination limits (email providers, portals, print). We prefer concrete tradeoffs over absolute claims.
- Updates: articles carry an updated date. We revise when Studio behavior, retention defaults, or common destination limits change.
- Corrections: if you find an error or an outdated recommendation, email hello@filemynt.com. We correct substantive mistakes and note material changes when needed.
- Cadence: we publish guides in focused batches rather than dumping thin pages. Quality and usefulness beat volume.
The tools exist to finish the jobs the guides describe. If a guide disappears tomorrow, the tools should still work. If the tools disappeared tomorrow, the guides should still be worth reading.
What we believe
Most online PDF products are tool directories. You pick a utility, upload, download, and start over for the next job. Real work is rarely one step. Filemynt is built for consecutive actions: one upload, unlimited consecutive actions.
We would rather be known as a place that teaches you how to share documents well — and happens to include excellent tools — than as another grid of identical compress buttons.
How the workspace works
- Upload PDFs (or images for JPG to PDF) over HTTPS to Filemynt servers — 50 MB max per file
- Run tools in sequence on the same result — no re-upload between steps
- Download when you are done — files expire after one hour and are deleted by a periodic cleanup job (typically within about one to two hours)
- No account required
Privacy
Uploads use HTTPS. Files are processed on Filemynt servers, not only in your browser. We do not use them for AI training or marketing. Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
