Split PDF

Extract pages or split everything.

Drop your PDF

One file · 50 MB max

Pull out specific pages into one PDF, or explode every page into separate files in a ZIP. Useful when you only need a signature page, one chapter, or page-by-page archives.

Extract vs. split all

Extract when you need one chapter, invoice page, or signature block. Split all when you want each page as its own file for systems that ingest page-by-page.

After you split

Extracted pages can go straight into compress, watermark, or merge with other files — continue in Studio without re-uploading the original.

Privacy note

Splitting does not remove metadata from remaining pages. Use Strip Metadata or Privacy Pack if you need a clean share copy.

Common questions

How do I select pages?
Use ranges like 1-3,5,7-9. Page numbers start at 1. Extract mode produces a single PDF with only those pages.
What does “every page” do?
Each page becomes its own PDF, bundled in a ZIP you download once — handy for scanning workflows and archival splits.
Can I reorder pages instead?
If you want a new sequence without removing pages, use Reorder PDF Pages. Split is for extracting or separating.
Are the split files stored anywhere?
No. The source PDF and every extracted page or ZIP live only for the length of your session and are deleted within an hour. We do not archive or analyze your documents.
